[Kanye West: Hurricane]

Please ready my WHOLE review before you judge me.

I am reviewing this submission on everything other than humor as I DO NOT FIND RACISM FUNNY!!

The movie overall was well done, the chracter was drawn well, the backround pictures fit well with the over all "theme" of the movie. The sound was recorded well, there was no muffling of the voices, and the zipper fish logo always cracks me up.

The reason I dont find this movie funny is because of racism, and i know this was ment to poke fun at Kanye West and yes I do think he is an asshole (even before all this, i thought that), but all this was for him is a way to boost his career and it failed. Yes, not all was done that should have been for the poorest people of the hardest hit areas, but the real heros are not the actors who donated money (Although it is much needed) or the singers who used the Hurrican Aid concert as a new way to cut a cd. The real heros are the National Guard Troops, The Red Cross, and The Police, Firefighters and Paramedics, doing everything they can to help the people and bring some hope back to their lives.

I liked it, it's nice to see funny shit on the front page. Believe it or not I think the animation goes well with the cartoon and it was just the right length... But what was up with the crappy grammar?

Holy Fuck, It's A Kiwi

Great work, funny and random which I like. The kiwi in the matrix was cool and was what I liked the most. Don't listen to the rest of the assholes around here. I think it is time they really start inforcing the rules for reviews. Im tired of reading things like "O dis iz liek totl crap, u shld die u gay faggot". Notice how most people who review like this only know how to spell "Gay" and "Faggot"? Anyway keep it up and hope to see more from you soon.

Not To Shabby

It leaves you to think doesnt it. The music was great and it synced with the animation very well. The graphics where top notch, although the download time on a DSL connction was quite long for a short movie. I still dont think it is a perfect 5 but for the most part it passed the time. keep it up and I hope to see more from you.

I have seen much more funny things on my travels around New Grounds, but this is still pretty good. That is a very crappy looking bee and it is hard to believe someone could draw something that bad. Anyway keep it up and i am looking forward to "My two best friends."

I am usually not a huge fan of stick animation but this was good. I did enjoy the last set ot animation with the 2 guys dukeing it out. Keep it up.

Very Well Done

Not bad, I liked it. People have to remember it is based on an alternate world stage. If he was folowing world events it would have been North Korea attacking the US. The planes were awsome. The water could have been better. The ships were neat, but a little to "Square". The music was well thought up (Including "Its A Wonderful World"). The nuke explosions were cool along with the drawing of Manhattan. Anyway well done, injoy the score, you earned it.

Not Bad Not Bad

Ok here goes. i am a huge MGS fan and you nailed some of the more stupid points on the head. The graphics are sweet and it ran well on my lower end PC without having to change the quality. There was some funny parts, for example when the guard pisses himself, and stuffing them all in the locker, and ofcourse making fun of the arm thing but here are some of my beefs.

Beef 1. The death speeches are cool. I miss them in MGS3. They give back round on future characters, the boos themself, and the progress the plot.

Beef 2. Making fun of the insersion method of MGS3 was just low. It is one of the best CG sequences of the game next to the ending!

Beef 3. Not everyone needs to change the controller slot for the Psycho Mantis battle. I has the game 3 years before i had the internet in which i discovered the weakness. I beat the game about 6 times before that. Yes I will admit it is hard if you dont do it but it makes for a good fight.

Well thats it. I hope to see a sequell soon. Dont keeps us waiting.

Worth a look

It runs well, there are no sprites, clocks, locks, or stick people. The voice acting was a little monotone, but that was probably because of the translation. The story was great and you used the FF characters well. The colors were bright, backround hand drawn. Other than using the characters, everything was original. Great work.
